The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) seeks an Engagement Coordinator to assist in the expansion and maintenance of the Survivor Speakers Bureau (SSB), a growing initiative featuring a vast database of Holocaust survivors who want to tell their vital stories and the audiences who want to hear them.
The Engagement Coordinators will work in close cooperation with the Manager, Strategic Initiatives, to enhance the database, which will involve analysis and input of data provided by survivors and institutions; networking with Holocaust survivor agencies, Holocaust and Jewish museums, synagogues, and public and private schools; relationship-building with survivors themselves who are available to tell their stories via Zoom, and event planning/follow-up with institutions.
This is a dynamic position which will include significant communication via email, phone, and in person on occasion.
Note: this is a hybrid position with a minimum of two days in the office, located in Midtown, Manhattan.

Our target salary for Engagement Coordinator in the New York City market is $60,000. This salary represents Claims Conference’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s exact location, experience in similar roles, and expertise related to the qualifications.
